Saturday, July 21, 2007 - Jim and Adele's Wedding Shower Gift

This is the tablrunner I made for Jim and Adele's wedding shower gift here. I really am not pleased with the way I put the colors together. The darker blue should have been the chain or I should have used something different because the pattern is too big in the fabric. Oh well at least it is done and they won't notice the difference. Guess I should go work on their wedding quilt borders.

I see what you're saying, but I honestly think it looks really good this way! Sometimes we're too hard on ourselves. Think of it this way. Maybe others would have done it the other way, but your way is unique to you. Rhoda

I think it's really pretty and if they don't like it I'll be glad to provide the shipping if you'd like to send it to me. Cindy

I'm just catching up on the blogs so sorry I'm a bit late. the table runner has turned out great and I love your colours. I'm glad you said about the Quiters Home mag. I have seen it in a few shops over in the UK so perhaps I'll pick it up love and hugs gina xxx

I think it turned out great! I know what you mean though about small pieces and larger scale prints. I've made that mistake a few times.
