Stitchin Chix Bag

Last night mom and I got together with the girls from work and made Stitchin Chix Bags. They turned out awesome and went together so fast. They are going to be the bag for Bag Ladies next month. They went together so fast and really were quite easy to make. I finished mine in about 2 hours. Here's my finished bag.

I used a fun decorative stitch and King Tut thread for the handles.

This is my original fabric which is super cute. I picked it up at the shop in Chamberlain last weekend on our shop hop.

I found a print for the lining in a shop in Luverne MN.

I think your fabric is a riot! Would you believe a stitchin chix bag won a ribbon at the fair? My jaw dropped. I was like, WHAT??

Great bags, Moneik- the quilt chick fabric is fabulous and very funky.
I went back and read a couple of previous posts- the quilt show had lovely quilts - I love bargello and have made three big bargello quilts. I recently purchased patterns for two more designs that I really loved too- there is always more designs and quilts to create. It is a fun technique and I like the needlework look of the designs.
I have a winding ways quilt that I am just finishing up the borders and then I will be ready to put it together for quilting.
It is always fun to see the projects others are doing..
Regards,
Anna
