Sometimes I try to see just how much time it takes me to make certain projects. I time the amount of time I spend sewing each month, but not necessarily how much each project takes. Tonight I wanted to see how long it takes to make this Rick Rack Road tablerunner. It's made with a charm pack, a small bit of yardage, and rick rack. It's also made Quilt As You Go style of quilting. I'm showing a few friends tomorrow night how to make it, so I tested myself tonight. The finished table runner was done in less than 2.5 hours. The only change I had to make was to enlarge the center under the rick rack, since my rick rack was too big. I'm happy with how it turned out.
Here's a close up of the flange/ borders on the ends.
The binding is on and I just have to finish the hand work, which I should be able to do tomorrow.
Hopefully tomorrow night I'll get some pictures of the work in progress tablerunners.

What a wonderful runner....
Very cute. I like the red, white, and black colorway.
I love that one! Some of my fav colors there!
What a fun tablerunner. I can see this pattern made from many different fabrics. I love the splash of red that jumps out when I see it.
Moneik, you always have the cutest things.
I love this.... I wanna come play too!
I like it! I know you said you thought the ric rack was too big but I don't. I think it's perfect for it!
Oh I love this runner. Very eye catching. Great use with the ric rac.
