A Year of Lovely Finishes January Goals

A Lovely Year of Finishes
It's a new year and a new set of goals for the next month. January is looking to be a great month for me to get stuff accomplished. I had planned to have my Mini Professional Tote as my goal for January, but since I finished it yesterday I'm choosing another goal.
I would like to get my Swoon sashing completed. I think this is doable since I am going to a SOYO retreat next weekend. I should be able to get the sashing cut out at home, along with the setting squares and get it pieced into a top at retreat. These are just a couple of the original blocks I made, but all the blocks are done now. I'll be teaching a class in February and I would love to have the whole top done to show.

My other January goals are a bit ambitious as well.
Mini Professional Tote
Tree Table Runner
Snowflake Table Runner
Crown Royal Sashing
Quilt Mini Scrappy Lazy Angle quilt

Since three of the goals are done, I am well on my way to finishing them. Since I hate sashing with a passion, I am hopeful that setting these goals will lead me to finish them. I also just cut out the Giant Star Burst QAL fabrics (minus some background I am short) and I should be able to get it pieced into a top as well.

Such pretty swoon blocks! I'm curious... What don't you like about sashing?
