But I couldn't resist a summer purse sample either, so I got these fabrics too.
When I left work it was just starting to rain and then it started hailing. I headed for home, where there was no electricity! What's a girl to do?? I took a nap! When I got up we had power and I was able to put the first border on the wedding quilt. Paul and I went to the movie Grown-Ups on Sat. night. It was so funny! I highly recommend the movie.
Sunday I spent doing some deep cleaning, but I did find time to put the final borders. I'm loving how it's turning out, though it is bigger than I planned it to be.
I'm loving the border print, which was the inspiration for the yellow and green sashing. I had enough of it for part of the back and the green will be the outer parts. I was able to piece the backing last night, so hopefully I'll get it quilted yet this week.
Yesterday our computer system at work was down, so we got to go home a couple hours early. I stopped at the quilt shop and picked up more backing fabric for the Wanna Be a Cowboy quilts. I was short for the second backing. I had put the first one on the frame Sun. night and started quilting it. When I got home I finished quilting it and put the second one on the frame. I was able to get it quilted as well, all before the time I would normally get home! I felt like I accomplished so much in a short time. The second one will go to a friend who is having a baby girl. I'm hoping to get it done so I can give it to her when the time is right.
Tonight I have the professional tote class. I'm really looking forward to it. It's such a fun bag to make and everyone feels like they've accomplished a lot when they get done.

love the fabrics sounds like you had a very productive weekend. I'm hoping this weekend will be like that for me.
Can't wait to see your purse- I made one with the coffee related fabric too!
