WIP Wednesday Week 28 July 11, 2012

My sewing time was severely limited this week, so I just didn't get a whole lot done. I did however get a chance to work on my idea for a new Crown Royal quilt. I found the fabrics after work on Thurs. and quickly got to work making a few sample blocks. I threw them up on my design wall, over everything else to see if I liked them. I think they turned out well. I can't wait to make more!

I showed them to the gals at work today and they like them as well, so I think I'll go with these fabrics. I did look at other stores on Sat. but nothing looked just right, so this is the fabric I'll go with.
This weekend we spent time with my Dad and his friend Ann and Mikaela got to visit her my Aunt Jane last night while her dad and I went to the World of Outlaw Races. The week just flew by and my sewing room clean out sale is Friday! I am so looking forward to it. I hope to get binding put on tonight when I get home, so I have some hand work for Friday night.
