Introducing Mathew Paul

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! It's been over a month since I last blogged, but I've been busy. Wednesday December 5, 2012 my water broke while I was at work, so I went in to the hospital. Mathew Paul was born at 10:05pm. He was 7lbs7oz and 19" long. He's dark skinned and dark haired just like his daddy. The morning after he was born on his new baby quilt.

In this picture he is 1 week old. He was jaundiced, so spent a lot of time the first week on the bili light.

At 2 weeks old we attended the baby shower for his cousin Cooper Edward. He's in the most adorable cocoon my aunt Jane made for him. Mathew Paul 2012-12-15 009

Mikaela loves her little brother and always wants to hold him. Mathew Paul 2012-12-15 016
In mid-December I got together with my quilting friends for our Christmas party. Gaila took this awesome picture of me and Mathew.

He likes to get lots of sleep and sleeps for about 4 hours at a time. This mom is loving it! Mathew Paul 2012-12-16 042
